Overview
Every relationship goes through seasons of strain. Sometimes it’s a specific issue, like a breach of trust or a major life change. Often it’s the same argument repeating in different forms, leaving both partners feeling unheard.
Couples therapy offers a neutral, supportive space for both of you. Drawing on Interactional Pattern Analysis, we look not only at what you argue about, but at how you communicate — the cycles you get caught in, and what each of you needs underneath. From there, you can begin to respond to each other differently.
Couples often come to us for
- Communication that turns into conflict or shuts down completely
- Recurring arguments that never seem to resolve
- Rebuilding trust after a breach or betrayal
- Feeling distant, or more like housemates than partners
- Big transitions — marriage, parenthood, relocation or loss
- Strengthening a relationship before problems take hold
